Satyen Sangani – CEO
Satyen is the CEO of Alation. Before Alation, Satyen spent nearly a decade at Oracle, ultimately running the Financial Services Warehousing and Performance Management business where he helped customers get insights out of their systems. Prior to Oracle, Satyen was an Associate with the Texas Pacific Group and an Analyst with Morgan Stanley & Co. Satyen holds a Masters from the University of Oxford and a Bachelors from Columbia College, both in Economics.
Stephanie McReynolds – VP of Marketing
With over 15 years of data infrastructure and application experience, Stephanie has a track record of bringing new technologies to market and into the hands of business analysts. Stephanie is currently the Vice President of Marketing at Alation. Prior to Alation, Stephanie was instrumental in building the first marketing team at the self-service data preparation provider Trifacta. She previously held senior product management positions at a number of data companies including Teradata, Aster Data and Oracle. Stephanie earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stanford University.
Alation is the first data catalog built for collaboration. With Alation, analysts are empowered to search, query and collaborate on their data to achieve faster, more accurate insights. Alation automatically captures the rich context of enterprise data, including what the data describes, who has used it, and the fit between the data and different types of analysis.
