Topic:

Enterprise Knowledge Technology the Next Frontier Beyond Big Data Analytics

Summary:

Over the past few years enterprises have augmented their data warehouses by spending tens of millions of dollars to create data lakes and fund lengthy big data projects. Most of these analytic initiatives have been performed in departmental silos, but did not have significant impact on increasing enterprise-wide profitability. The most innovative Fortune 500 companies have embarked on major digital transformation initiatives using Enterprise Knowledge technology. This new technology, pioneered by Maana, enables companies to optimize every asset and business process across an enterprise on an ongoing basis. Maana’s Knowledge Platform accelerates knowledge discovery to increase profitability. At the core of the platform is the patented Knowledge Graph™, which enables knowledge representation and reasoning for asset and process optimization. This invention extracts knowledge directly from data silos and information sources and demonstrates their relationships as models to gain a holistic view of how assets and processes interconnect across the enterprise. Maana’s platform uses a set of sophisticated AI algorithms that are “user-guided, machine-assisted” and dramatically accelerates the creation of models for faster optimization of operations.

Company Profile:

Maana pioneered “knowledge technology” for the enterprise. Maana’s Knowledge Platform accelerates knowledge discovery to increase profitability. At the core of Maana’s platform is the patented Knowledge Graph™, which enables knowledge representation and reasoning for asset and process optimization. This breakthrough invention extracts knowledge directly from data silos and information sources – eliminating the need for data lakes – and represents concepts, entities, properties, and relationships as models that subject matter experts (SMEs) and data scientists can reason over together. Maana captures knowledge in the form of models, developed to answer complex questions. Maana’s Knowledge Graph enables SMEs to quickly build these data and computational models to answer complex questions and extract the information needed to understand the relationships and interdependencies of business processes and assets across an organization.
