As the General Manager of Power BI Engineering, Arun leads product development for Microsoft’s Business Intelligence product portfolio. This includes Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, Dynamics Customer Insights, SQL Server Analysis Services, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
Amir Netz – Technical Fellow
Amir Netz is a Technical Fellow and chief architect of the Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) offerings. Amir is focused on the democratization of BI through end-user self-service enablement using Microsoft Office, SharePoint and SQL Server.
Amir holding over 40 patents in BI and Business Analytics technology. The products designed and developed by Amir have repeatedly defined the business analytics market. Some of his latest contributions include VertiPaq, the in-memory column-oriented data engine that at the foundation of the Microsoft BI stack, PowerPivot – a breakthrough self-service BI system for Excel, Power View – an interactive ad-hoc data visualization and exploration tool and Power BI.
