Qlik Sense – Self-service visualization and discovery for mobile and enterprise users
Summary:
Qlik Sense is the new self-service visualization product from Qlik. It complements the existing QlikView technology by providing a responsive, drag-and-drop user experience backed by a highly scalable, governed, back end. In this presentation we will explore the user experience, the management tools for governance and the powerful APIs for developers and partners.
BBBT members will gain unique insights to the technology itself along with detailed and insightful explanations of target markets and user groups. In the NDA presentation we will describe the product roadmaps in some detail.

Donald Farmer, VP of Innovation and Design
Donald Farmer is Vice President of Innovation and Design at Qlik, guiding customers and partners through the radical organizational and technical changes that new data-driven business require. Donald is an internationally respected speaker and writer, with 30 years experience in data management and analytics. He has worked in companies ranging from startups to Microsoft, and has applied his knowledge in fields as diverse as archaeology and fish-farming.
Josh Good, Director of Product Marketing
Josh has been with Qlik for 4 years where he has held positions in presales and most recently Product Marketing. As a presales consultant he was a key member of innovating Qlik’s go to market through inside sales. He is now focused on continuing to innovate Qlik’s goto market via a freemium model. Prior to Qlik, Josh lead business intelligence and analytics projects at a premium outdoor clothing company. He also has experience in government acquisition and biomechanical research. Josh holds a bachelor’s of Applied Science and a Master’s of Science from Queen’s University. In his spare time, Josh is an avid skier, mountain biker and sea kayaker.
