StreamSets DataOps Platform

StreamSets is bringing DevOps to data integration. Founded by executives from Informatica and Cloudera, the StreamSets DataOps Platform is transforming how data integration is handled in the face of constant change. Our presentation will give a brief look into the StreamSets journey to date, explore what we mean by DataOps, show how we’re helping leading companies modernize data management, and preview what’s on the horizon in this exciting space.

Clarke Patterson – Head of Product Marketing

As Head of Product Marketing Clarke is responsible for product messaging, market intelligence and evangelism. He’s been at this data management thing for a while, having held similar positions at companies like Confluent, Cloudera and Informatica over the past decade.

Kirit Basu – Head of Product Management

In the past he has worked at startups, edtech and healthcare organizations on a wide-ranging set of technologies dealing with data big and small.

Bryan Duxbury – Chief Technologist

Company Profile:

StreamSets built the industry’s first multi-cloud DataOps platform for modern data integration, helping enterprises to continuously flow big, streaming and traditional data to their data scientists and data-intensive applications. It uniquely handles data drift, those frequent and unexpected changes to data that break pipelines and damage data integrity. The platform combines the open source StreamSets Data Collector for execution of any-to-any pipelines (the data plane) with a cloud-native StreamSets Control Hub™ for the design, monitoring and performance management of multi-pipeline topologies (the control plane). Founded in 2014 by Girish Pancha, former chief product officer of Informatica, and Arvind Prabhakar, a former engineering leader at Informatica and Cloudera, StreamSets is backed by top-tier Silicon Valley venture capital firms, including Battery Ventures, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Accel Partners, Harmony Partners, and Tenaya Capital.
