Charles Zedlewski – Vice President, Products
Charles (@zedlewski) joined Cloudera from SAP where he held various management roles in product strategy, management and operations. During his time at SAP Charles led the development of a half a dozen new and follow-on releases for products that supported some of SAP’s major growth initiatives in GRC, Sustainability, and EPM. Many of these products received substantial critical acclaim and collectively generated more than a hundred million dollars in new product revenues. Prior to SAP Charles held product roles at BEA Systems and venture backed software startups. Charles holds a bachelor’s degree from Carleton College and an MBA from MIT.
Alan Saldich – Vice President, Marketing
Alan (@alsaldich) is responsible for developing and executing Cloudera’s marketing and communications strategy to support continued business growth and brand awareness. Alan joins Cloudera from Riverbed Technology, a 1,400-employee public company that develops high performance IT infrastructure solutions, where he served as Vice President of Product Marketing. With over 22 years of experience, he has held a variety of leadership roles in marketing, finance and operations at eight companies. Alan holds a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Matt Brandwein – Director, Product Marketing
Prior to Cloudera, he delivered enterprise search, business intelligence, and data discovery products at Endeca and Oracle. Matt holds degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
